I have been working at KFC over the past 2 years but involved with the company for 10 years, in both a consulting and contractual capacity. My current role is in business optimization, where I drive lean initiatives and coordinate improvements on the company’s quality of service and operating costs.

In an effort to improve our security systems and reduce sales costs, we decided to install surveillance cameras to monitor the stores remotely. The support team was extremely efficient and I was surprised by how quickly they responded to my emails and requests. I submit a support ticket within the online portal and in no time receive a phone call from someone on the technical support team with an update.
With the DTiQ system in place, our food costs immediately improved. I believe that the presence of cameras in the restaurant alone helped lessen our product shortages. When the DTiQ system was completely installed, these figures improved by 50% for the first store. You have to protect the team members from themselves and knowing that they were constantly monitored improved productivity and customer service.
Utilizing the DTiQ System
I find the SmartAudit™ reports to be the icing on the cake. Our very first report shed light on an employee productivity problem and also helped us catch a team member who was giving away free product. I sign into the MyDTT™ portal every day. It has become part of my daily routine. I mainly look at the real-time exception reporting where I can see if my team members are making any mistakes ringing up transactions. The point of sale interface, where the transaction details appear on the screen, also comes in handy here. For instance, I am notified whenever an employee meal is offered. I can then pull up the video to verify
