DTT’s Redesigned Mobile App: Creating a More Accessible Loss Prevention Solution
Today, with the launch of DTT’s redesigned mobile app and the announcement of increased Mac functionality for MyDTT™, the next evolution in loss prevention has arrived: accessibility.
Whether it’s for browsing, email, work or leisure: today’s users demand the flexibility to access the information they need to run their businesses on any device and from any location.
DTT now offers that flexibility to our customers.
DTT’s Redesigned Mobile App
DTT’s completely redesigned mobile app offers customers key benefits that make running their businesses easier.
Specifically, DTT’s native iOS app provides remote access to live and recorded surveillance footage at the tap of a finger. This accessibility is essential in a business environment where critical incidents don’t necessarily occur during standard business hours.
For example, DTT’s mobile app lets customers instantly respond to incidents like break-ins or internal theft with the flexibility that’s necessary to preserve profitability.
In addition, features like “Single Login” give operators the ability to view all of their DTT locations, while also creating additional separate logins for district managers with limited access to specific locations.
Other features like multi-cam views, custom views, and a sleek modern design make this tool a necessity for any business owner with a DTT subscription.
Finally, DTT has committed significant resources towards the development of new features, such as Touch ID, SmartAudit™, and RISA™ functionality.
Easier Access to Videos on Mac Devices
Concurrent to the launch of the redesigned mobile app, DTT also announced a product enhancement that makes it easier for MyDTT™ users to view surveillance footage from Mac devices. This enhancement is another step towards providing customers with tools that make it easier for them to run their businesses.
DTT’s Mac functionality runs through Geovision’s GV-Edge Recording Manager app. This app allows users to access surveillance video on Mac devices without needing a parallel desktop solution that runs Windows, which was previously required.
Additional features of this recent product enhancement include full access to live and recorded video, and the ability to display up to 64 camera views on a single page.
Conclusion
As DTT continues to grow and expand our service offerings, we are committed to developing increased product functionality for our customers.
Part of DTT’s mission is to be “the best vendor you have ever worked with,” and that means providing our customers with products that are easily accessible, regardless of their computing preferences.
DTT’s newly redesigned mobile app and the announcement of easier access to video for Mac users are important steps in the pursuit of that goal.
